The grey lady of The Theatre Royal, Bath.

The Theatre Royal in Bath has been reported haunted for many years but on one Saturday in 1992, made quite an extraordinary appearance during a performance.

A matinée performance of a play called

"A moment of weakness" was taking place and the actors Liza Goddard and Christopher Timothy were on stage. They became aware of a lady in Victorian atire, watching them from a box they knew was not being used for performances at that time. A cold chill came over them and once the performance was over, the staff they spoke to about could tell they were visibly shaken. The staff confirmed that what they had seen had been reported by others in the past.
